Fees
Fees are £6.00 per hour.
Invoices are issued on a termly basis however we are happy to agree weekly, monthly or half-termly payment if preferred.
We are happy to accept payment by BACS and childcare vouchers. Working families may also wish to pay via their tax free childcare accounts.
The childcare choices website is an extremely useful site detailing the various ways childcare can be funded.
Consumables Fee
We have introduced a fee to cover snacks, arts & crafts, cookery, gardening, music & movement, sundries and sun-cream, although this list is not exhaustive.
The current rate is £1.50 per half-day session / £3.00 per full-day.
This amount is payable per morning and afternoon sessions. Please note, consumable fees are only payable per government funded sessions. If you do not wish to pay this fee and would like your child to opt out of these activities / services, please contact us to discuss alternatives.
30 Hours funding
We are a 2 year old funding approved provider (subject to eligibility).
All 3 and 4 year olds are entitled to 15 hours per week of free early years education for 38 weeks of the year from the term following their 3rd birthday. Eligible children can get up to 30 hours. If parents wish their child to attend for additional hours they will be charged according to the rates.
You need to apply for 30 hours funding as unlike the 15 hours funding, it is not automatic.
Free early learning and childcare
The Early Years Education Funding for 2, 3 and 4 year olds is funded by Devon County Council. All 3 and 4 year olds are entitled to a certain amount of free early education and childcare per week. This is called the Early Years Entitlement. Find out more about the Early Years Entitlement from the Devon County Council website.
The Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP) is additional government funding for childcare providers to improve the education they provide for disadvantaged 3 and 4 year olds.
Some 2 year olds are also entitled to free early education and childcare. This funding is based on your child’s circumstances or your family income. If your child is eligible, you will be sent a purple ticket (previously know as a golden ticket) which you can use to access the free childcare. Find out more about Golden Tickets and what you should do if you think your child is eligible but you haven’t received one.
After School Club
We run an after school club suitable for children aged from three years. This runs until 5.30 Monday and Thursday. We will collect children from West Hill Primary School and run the sessions in the Pre-school room at West Hill Village Hall. The cost is currently £12 for these sessions which are paid in advance and will be invoiced at the start of each half term.
